Last night when I was about to sleep at 3am, I was awakened by the Indian man staying opposite, constantly cussing at the family who lives on the fifth level. As I am sensitive to sound, his shouting that has been going on for days, be it to his family or the neighbors, totally got me irritated. At first I wanted to ignore it but the shouting got louder and he's even kicking the door, so I decided to grab my camera and film down what he was doing, main purpose was to show my parents the next morning. LOL Little did I know the family that lives on the fifth level called the police. Wow~

I was actually very excited yesterday cause shipping usually takes 2 days to arrive and i even opened my door just to welcome it but to my disappointment, the box did not come. :( However the box came while i was excited over baking some tuna pastry... The puff was just mehhhhh.... but tuna turned out fine, almost as good as the one in the sardine puff! hehe

Anyway back to the April Bellabox, this month's theme was Flawless Beauty and man i was overjoyed when i first heard about it.

And here are the products that were sent to me, with 2 disappointments though. First, I was surprised to see a China Glaze black nail polish but when I read that it was from the Crackle Collection, I got a little disappointed cause I don't like "Crackle" polish at all, it makes my already-short nails look dirty and ugly. Secondly, there are no products from Laura Mercier, I was hoping for the primer foundation that many had gotten... :(

Product testing under cut~

First of all, both my mom and I are users of Wink Up Essence-In Pen Eyeliner, it is easy to apply and remove afterwards, and mainly because.... the casing is in red LOL. Then a month ago, i bought the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner for my mom to replace her finishing one, and she told me it was good but super hard to remove. The K-Palette was really popular amongst bloggers because of it's '1 DAY TATTOO' title and no doubt it really works like a tattoo LOL.

Draw Test:

CLIO Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black : Highly pigmented and tends to feather before drying.

Wink Up Essence-In Pen Eyeliner : Average pigmentation thus no feathering at all.

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner : Quite pigmented but color wise, it is more to a dark grey.

Water Test (Constantly Spraying):

CLIO Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black : ★★★★

Wink Up Essence-In Pen Eyeliner : ★ (Not suitable for people who sweat around the eyes area)

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner : ★★★★★ (It looks like a faded tattoo even after the second wash)

So you must be wondering why am i still using the Wink Up Essence-In Pen Eyeliner when it scored so badly. Reason being my glue for the eyelashes is black so I only need to draw the wing part and because it is so easy to remove, I can re-draw the shape multiple times without the fear of staining.

You can decide whether you will need the longer-lasting, hard to remove but cheaper K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner or the highly pigmented, easy to remove but expensive CLIO Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black. ;)

I wanted to try the Matsumoto Ena look originally but because of her slender face shape and big eyes, I was forced to give up OTL, so i gave the look a 'Clare' treatment, which consists of pink! The pink color 'lipstick' that you see, is actually not a lipstick but colors from my eyeshadow palette. After applying concealer to my lips, I merely rolled on the lip balm and by using a small brush, I mixed 2 shades of magenta and dapped it on my lips! (If you want to have a glossy look, just top it off with a lipgloss!) It is fun because I get to try a lot of different colors without having the need to buy the actual ones.

Anyway, I flipped through my old photo album and there were so many photos of me when I was young! So why not let you see... the small me hehe. Have a great day ahead <3 and I can't wait to receive my bellabox... probably tomorrow T_T

Yes, you see a normal wardrobe, but what you don't know is that the clothes you see now were originally not there. Most of my clothes were black last year. Grey and Cream were the only colors that were available. Why so? Because just like any other curvy chicks out there, we think Black makes us look slimmer, and bright colors will accentuate our unwanted curves to be seen... and who wants that? Therefore I bought real colors in 2011 and packed almost 50% of my black clothes ready to be sent away. It is an achievement for me really but now there's another problem, let's put it this way, what if one day my metabolism rate increased and i can no longer wear these clothes? I am sure for thin people their size usually increases or decreases within the range of UK 8 - 12 and it is still wearable for them. But for me it is like a leap jump! I wouldn't be able to wear any of these anymore :(

Anyhow, who knows what will happen in the future? hehe. Yesterday my mom bought a few shorts and I took the 3 leopard prints ones from her LOL. I just couldn't resist leopard prints okay~ Oh ya, maybe i should do a post about where to get UK 14 - 18 clothes in Singapore in the near future! :)

Do you know what makes me laugh and clap like a seal? Not Big Bang Theory, but stand-up comedies. I know for some, Big Bang Theory is not even funny but hey, I didn't miss out any episodes ok. So an hour and a half stand-up comedy is considered too short for me, unless the comedian squeeze out the very last funny juice out of him, I will not be contented. But that's not the case for Kevin Hart. He is like a pure genius when it comes to stand-ups, like how everything should go in order and the interaction with the audiences is pure gold. Just to share with you some of the clips from his Laugh at my pain show, enjoy :)

Went for Temasek Polytechnic Design Show today to view the graduates' final year project! and the only thing that amuses me is this...

Our lecturer agreed on letting us take photo with it and he said the concept was by him. Didn't believe it at first but it was indeed true lol. Anyway my rings came!!!!! That pink skull is so adorable! I am just going to end the post like this because i have dramas to catch on. :>

A beautiful place located at Dempsey Hill with the homely atmosphere and waiters always on stand-by for you. Definitely recommended for a hangout place for families who would like to spend a fruitful evening and have a taste of their international delicacies, and by international... i mean it.

The menu was designed and presented like a newspaper, a very unique way of ordering food but not too much of my liking since it is too big to flip for a table of 4.

This pizza got me hooked, even till now I am still craving for the jam and turkey. :(

After eating our dinner, we proceeded to the Ben & Jerry's nearby for the celebration. The people there were really helpful when we requested for a birthday song and also the candles, they agreed to help immediately. While I was holding the "cake" and walking towards her, it felt as if I was walking down the aisle of a wedding ceremony lol. Every step was perfect until i had to stop and lit the candles again for 3 times?

How cool was it for a handful of strangers to sing and clap to the birthday song? It was definitely an unforgettable experience I would say, because this kind of thing is so not me. Usually for birthdays, I would just sit there and clap while someone else does something special but for her birthday, I felt the urge to present it to her.

We had been friends for almost 2 years and I wouldn't deny that there wasn't any misunderstandings in between. Because we were too close to comfort with each other, our hope for mutual understanding began to grow even if we don't contact each other every alternate days. But it wasn't the case. There is only hope for mutual understanding if both parties never stop trying to understand each other. I am glad that everything is now back to how it was like in year 1 except that I understand her even more :)

A wild memory card appeared and here's what i found.

We were called the Pirates, I don't know why and how that became our group name lol but after a year, some pirates left our class and some new ones joined, we were then called the Blind Mices, but I don't know why and how AGAIN. LOL There's actually more Blind Mices than Pirates, but most of them mia~~~ so we were the ones left.

#fact - I can't find any photo that included all of our faces.

Recently I am working on building my own ring light, screw the one that is mainstream cause they cost a bomb? $168 $298? But the one I am doing on is not cheap either, they cost almost $50 just for the thing itself. It is ok! Clare can do it right lol.

Was chatting with my friend (shall not name her) and she told me how much craziness was involved when having a crush on someone for 4 years and nothing but laughter for it now. A can of coke or even as small as a candy, she kept it for the entire 4 years upon graduation. I thought that was crazy but when i reflected on myself, I am just this c l o s e to that state of mind. Please don't give me any food *pun* lol

And then she went on to tell me about her first heartbreak that sparks her motivation, and this is when i pondered about my motivation, must i experience a heartbreak first?
